This was SUCH a fun project to put together, and I am in love the final product- a completely modern, funky little sleeve to keep my iPad, iPhone, and iPod (iLikeApple?) all safe and cozy in my handbag.
I just love Craftsy's new workshop section, so it was an extra thrill to create one for them! The workshops are very detailed online patterns with tons of photos, interactive community forums for posting questions & comments, and a gallery to show off your finished project. Mine lays out the pattern in 6 sections, with over 60 super clear photos and detailed step-by-step instructions.
You likey? Wanna make one?....or a dozen to gift to friends and family next month? Craftsy is offering the workshop at a discounted $11.99 right now, BUT this post would be no fun without a giveaway! I'm giving away 3 free workshops!
Here's how to win one:
Follow my blog (if you aren't already) and leave a comment to this post saying who you'd make an iTote for. On Monday 11/21, I'll have Random.org pick 3 winners for free enrollment in the workshop! **For an extra chance to win, post about my iTote on Twitter and/or FB, and leave another comment telling me you did!
Oh, and make sure you're not a no-reply blogger too, so I can contact you if you win!
Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Friday everyone!
XO

Oh my gosh! There are so many ipad sleeves available, but THIS, oh boy, THIS is my favorite!! I'd make it for myself (even though I have no ipad, a girl can be prepared if one ever came my way), and I'd definitely make it for my brother. So cute!! And, of course, I follow your blog!

I like to make this tote for my daughter. We lost our business in the economy and went bankrupt then our oven stop working for four months. She and my step up give us money every month to eat and help buy my medication because my hubby and I or on Medicare. My daughter brought us a new oven just in time for the holiday then she paid our back car loan payment which was 3 months behind. She deserve this tote this is the only thing besides love I can do for her and my other daughter and never complain about giving to help her parents.
I'd like to make one for my son. I'm giving him my iPad for Christmas.
I have turned into a real gadget girl, I have a Kindle, I-pod and smart phone so this would be wonderful. I take them everywhere with me so I could really use one of these. I hope I win otherwise I will have to find some funds from somewhere.
Even though I don't own an iPad (yet), I'd first make it for a friend of mine that has worked with me at a convention every year for the past 4 years and has always stepped up and taken on more than I schedule her for and jumps in when I need an extra hand. Also to give her a hand with keeping track of it since she took to putting it in my gear bag whenever she wasn't using it.
I would like to make one for myself, then make a few for other teachers at my school who have iPads.
I would love to make one for myself. I am a Speech Pathologist that travels between schools. It would also be great to make some for my fellow SLP's who travel also. They would make great Christmas gifts.
I shared this on facebook, too.

I would love to make this iTote for my daughter-in-law. She received an I-Pad for Christmas. Then I would like to make one for me, just in case I ever get an I-Pad, too. I am also enjoying your BOM class on Craftsy. You are a very good teacher.
