Don’t they, though? Baby feet, baby cheeks, baby pot belly.
Squeeze attack! Can’t. Stop. Squeezing. …And kissing, and snuggling, and cuddling.
Today my little Chubbs modeled some darned cute courduroy baby bloomers & a floppy hat I stitched up recently for my friend’s little girl (who’s also, I might add, irresistably squeezable). Aren’t they fun? I had to share. And you know I’m not a huge garment sewist (sewer? Or is that the stinky place beneath the street?), but I just love how these turned out and I just might need to make a few more to keep.
Both patterns are from this awesome little book, Making Children’s Clothes, by Emma Hardy. Oh, I almost forgot, same book I used to make the strawberry dresses.
Super, super clear instructions & illustrations, with full-size paper patterns included. Every project I’ve made from this book has been a breeze. If you’ve got little ones in your life, you need this book!
Now I just need to start sewing more clothes for my kids before they grow too big (and too cool) for baby bloomers!
