Hungarian Valentine Embroidery Pattern

February 1, 2012 5 Comments

I know what you’re thinking. A holiday project that’s ready 2 whole weeks before the big day?! Who are you and what have you done with the habitually tardy, nonetheless endearing, lady who usually blogs here? Don’t be scared- it’s still me.

So how about a little folksy embroidery ornament to woo your sweetheart this month?

I designed this simple hand project as a make & take kit for the Worldwide Craftsy Meetup Party last week. What a blast we had here in Denver! Wish you all could have been there.

Thankfully, there were some SERIOUS stitchers there, who whipped their’s up in minutes, and pretty much put my sample heart to shame. <Enter: Jamie & Amber of Fancy Tiger Crafts – THE hottest not-so-little craft shop in Denver.>

Even a crafty corner for the kiddies.

My beautiful mama was the perfect date. (Sidenote: Can I just tell you that she is the rock star of all moms? She is. In every way possible.)

Wanna make one? Upload the FREE pdf pattern HERE, or if you’re really cool, snag one of the leftover kits! Just click the “Buy Now” button below and I’ll ship it to you, pronto! Kit includes everything you need to make the ornament, including the pattern, template, red & white felt, floss, needle, and tissue paper. Comes in a super cute clear bag with a ribbon on top- great gift for your crafty friends!

***UPDATE 2/13/12- This purchase option is now CLOSED since the kits are sold out. Email me if you’d still like a hard copy of the pattern mailed to you though- I have a stack left and am happy to do that!

XO

This Hungarian Valentine is so cute! I just discovered Stitchery Dickory Dock today, although I followed you on Craftsy with the 2012 BOM. I joined Sugar Block Club today, and I am anxious to get started. Congrats on your lovely family.
