My BOM Reveal

October 15, 2012 2 Comments

Can you believe it’s October already? WHEW! I’m so happy to finally be able to share pics of my finished Craftsy BOM sampler, now that all of the blocks have been revealed. And I wanna see yours too! Share a pic of your finished quilt in the Flickr group.

No worries if you still need some help finishing up- we’ll go through all the basics of basting, quilting, and binding in the November 1st lesson, so hang tight and you can still be wrapped up before the holidays. :)

I’ve grown some extra ankles here…thank goodness they’re cute.

Double Star

Friendship Circle

Hexagon Row

Sunny With A Chance of Hex (I love the name as much as the block!)

Props to my sweet friend Leah Day of Day Style Designs and The Free Motion Quilting Project for quilting the heck outta this thing! WOW! Stay tuned for her Craftsy class launching next month, where she’ll teach us how to FMQ this sampler on our home machines! I know, mind boggling. I’m seriously hoping to glean some quilting skills and confience through her teaching.

Now go refill your coffee and upload pics of your BOM to Flickr (even if it’s just the top)- I wanna see ’em!

Happy Monday!

XOXO

Amy, I took your BOM 2012 and enjoyed it so much that I was thrilled to find the Sugar Block Club. Thank you so much. I hope you will do another class on craftsy, you do such a nice job teaching. I took the class to quilt the BOM quilt from Leah Day, I loved that too and quilted mine the same way. I love love love free motion quilting. Thank you again
