New Pattern, New Shop!

February 28, 2014 16 Comments

Hooray!  I’m so excited for this day, you guys!  I’ve been busy as a beaver working on a few fun projects, including a brand new pattern, and a brand new shop!  Aw shucks, I feel like I’m all grown up now, with a fancy pants shopping cart ‘n all.

The new pattern is the Tuileries quilt I blogged about back in January as part of the True Colors Blog Tour.  I’m still in the process of quilting it, but was just so excited about those pretty Parisian blooms, that I just couldn’t wait to write the pattern.  I hope you enjoy stitching it up as much as I did!

In addition to my other patterns, I’ve also added this year’s Sugar Block subscription to the shop, for a new, much easier way to sign up.  And the 2013 Sugar Block sampler pattern is also now available!  This pattern consists of an 80-page PDF packed with diagrams & photos walking you through techniques like foundation paper piecing, flying geese, half square triangles, diamond-in-a-square, on point piecing, and more- everything you need to stitch these 12 blocks.

Thanks for stopping by, friends, and I promise, I’ll pop on here more often to say hi!  It’s such an exciting year…so much I want to tell you guys about, but I can’t quite yet.  Soon, very soon.

Happy “almost, well, not really Spring yet”!!!

XO

Oh score Amy! This is beautiful! And perfect for my new grand-baby due in April …affectionately known as “Sprout”. I’ve been looking for something “sprouty” and this couldn’t be more perfect.

Great minds think alike Maureen. I am going to make this for my newest nephew here in Australia, known as “the bump” who arrived on the 27th February. Now known as Oscar David. Love to see yours when finished.

Woo hoo… congrats Amy. I just joined Sugar Block last month, and am loving the patterns so far. I also appreciate the tutorials on your site and am going to check out the shop. I’m so glad I found your site (through Craftsy!) – keep up the great designs!

This amazed and inspired me all the way down here in Queensland Australia. Your work is beautiful and I hope my effort turns out half as good and I will be happy!

Congratulations on the shop and the pattern. I can’t wait to here about you other news. I am so ready for the snow to stop falling. As much I want to see the ground again not to soon or we will all float away in the rivers and lakes it will make.

Yay, that saves me from having to ask whether you were going to be making that pattern available for sale! Already purchased and downloaded – very successfully – lovely shop, so one happy shopper! Congratulations on being so “grown up”. I also signed up for the Sugar Club last month, although I’m not allowed to start anything new until at least July… but I definitely have a list of things I am going to do, when I’m allowed. Looking forward to it already!

Wow I love that quilt. It is so pretty and spring/summer looking. The changes you have made to your pattern shop and so beautiful. It looks awesome. Well done. Your work inspires me so much. It has also inspired me to want to join the modern quilting guild here in Sydney Australia. I am going along next Sunday to a sew along day to check it out and I am so excited. Your inspiration is more than words can say. Your doing such a great job.
