Happy Friiiiiday Guys!
I’m excited to share a fun new tutorial with you today, that I put together as part of the Design Challenge summer series over at Sew Lux Fabric.
Let’s face it. Love these brilliant nursing pillows, hate the covers. The ones they sell in the big chain stores are kinda ugh-tastic…if you know what I mean. Pastels? Jungle theme? C’mon ladies, we can do better. Much better. These are suuuper easy to make…I can’t wait to whip up some more for my endless plethora of pregnant friends.
Pop on over to Sew Lux to view the tutorial, and let me know what you think!
The fabrics? I’m a sucker for essential black, white, & grey dots and houndstooth, and threw in some pretty blues from one of my favorite lines right now- Denyse Schmidt’s Flea Market Fancy. This 6 FQ bundle is available right now at Sew Lux through Sunday, and is selling out quick! Pop over HERE if you wanna snag one.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you’re up to something fabulous this weekend! Me? I’m off to make some *slight* alterations to a bridesmaid dress I’m wearing in 48 hours….ordered it the week BEFORE I found out it was pregnant…thankfully they let me bump it 2 sizes up. 6 mos later and now I’ve discovered I’ve got twins in there…and this bump is looking 3rd trimester to me. If you don’t hear from me next week, you’ll know I’ve been strangled by chiffon or choked by hook & eyes!
