C’mon, pop on over for a drinkable treat and a chat!

Happy Saturday y’all! (I never say y’all by the way- I have no southern accent whatsoever- but doesn’t it just sound so darned sweet?) What are you guys up to this weekend? SO much happening over here! Here’s what I’m all about today:

First, I’ve got a yummy bundle over on Sew Lux Fabrics! This combo feels so Fall to me! Like a tart drizzle of honey lemon cranberry sauce! They’re offering it this month only, so pop over and snag one if you’re feelin it too.

Also, I just signed up for the Sew South Retreat!!! It’s hosted by my dear friend Jennifer of Ellison Lane Quilts, happening this March in Charlotte, NC. If you can believe it, my champion hubby URGED me to do it, assuring me he’s 100% confident he can handle all 4 kids for 4 days! I KNOW! Thanks babe- love ya!!! I’m SOOO excited to spend a long weekend with oodles of modern sewing friends, old & new.

Oh, I’ve been meaning to share this with you all week! My quilting soul mate, Marta, just posted this DIY IKEA sewing table tutorial and I am ALL ABOUT IT!!! Functional, modern, and affordable sewing tables that sink your machine bed down to table height are SO hard to come by- just crazy not to just make your own custom table! This is for sure on my to-do list for the coming year!

And have you signed up for my 2013 Sugar Block Club yet? I’m so excited to be offering this! It’s a year long monthly email subscription of 12 lovely modern (but traditionally inspired) quilt block patterns, along with my favorite delectable dessert recipes! It’s $7.95 flat to join, and makes a fun holiday gift for quilty friends.

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you’re Saturday’s filled with tons of coffee, sewing, and snuggling!

XO
