Have you seen this rad Across The Sea Quilt-Along going on over at Ellison Lane Quilts and Fairy Face Designs? Love it! Seems like such a fresh simple pattern w/ lots of white space and modern punches of color. I’m definitely carving out time for this one.
Here are my fabrics- remnants from a Robert Kaufman Layer Cake I’ve had in my stash for eons. Hooray! I think they’re perfect for this one. And I had exactly 20 left- perfect for the lap size.
Oh, also think I’ve stumbled upon a brilliant future tutorial for all you Sewing Suzies- easy toddler super hero cape. I’ve seen these things all over Etsy…but who needs trendy felt & fabric, when you can make your very own super hero cape out of a blueberry-smeared disposable bib?? Chic. Stylish. Mash in food of your choice to match any outfit. I think this one could take me to the next level.
Happy Monday everyone! Off to finish a big bright quilt for my grown up 3 yo- pics tomorrow I hope!
