And speaking of growing, I have to share with you about this ultra-sweet gift we received this week from a dear friend. I just adore this idea! It’s a homemade growth chart made from burlap ribbon.
Looks like she neatly marked the inches with a Sharpie (or maybe used a stencil?)….and here’s the cutest part…the heights are marked by pinning little key tags labeled with the child’s name, date, and height. She had little tags already written out and attached with the boys’ birth heights, and included a whole box of tags for future years.
Isn’t this just the cutest little baby gift ever? SO modern and simple- matches any decor, and you can move it from room to room or home to home as needed….then when your bean is all grown up, roll it back up and keep it with keepsakes. CUTE! I’m definitely stealing this idea and giving these at future baby showers!
Now it’s off to sew, sew, sew! When the kiddo’s in school, my machine is buzzin! Lots of WIPs to share on Wednesday. See you then!
