Well, I finally found the perfect strawberry fabric for the little tribute sundresses I made for my grandmother’s memorial service this past week. I know she would have absolutely loved them- so simple and fresh. What a blessing it was to have spent a week with family, making new memories and reminiscing about our dear sweet Grandma…her white always spotless Reeboks, mischivous smile, and yes, strawberries oozing from every cranny of her house.
Found the super easy pattern for them in THIS book by Emma Hardy. Packed with darling pieces I’m dying to make for my girls while they’re still itty bitties.
The rosette’s are little yo-yo’s. So easy. You can whip these up in literally minutes using THIS super helpful tool.
This shot of my Gram never ceases to stun me. Gorgeous. Truly, I think if I looked up the word “classy” in the dictionary, her name would be somewhere in the definition. May I strive to live by her example each and every day.
