Blogs Are Like Belly Buttons, Everybody’s Got One

blog

[blawg, blog]

noun, verb, blogged, blogging

-noun

  1. a page on the interweb, regularly updated by someone who, ostensibly, can find nothing better to do with their time.
  2. a meandering, blatantly uninteresting online diary that gives the author the illusion that people are actually interested in their lame, mundane life.
  3. a place for people who have way too much free time, to post unnecessary information for others, who also have way to much free time, to read.

Awww, really Urban Dictionary? Dang. Blog smackdown. I feel a little tear trickling down my cheek. Oh wait, that’s just a small blueberry particle that’s been stuck to my face since dinner with my arm-flailing baby. Well I don’t care. I mean, I care that I’ve had blueberry stuck to my face for what appears to be 3 hours and never noticed, but I don’t care that Urban Dictionary says blogs are “sensationalized worthless minutia.” If you’re a blog party pooper, you’re probably not reading my blog right now, so problem solved! Ahh, I feel so much better. No Judge Judy’s on here poo pooing my ramblings about motherhood, quilting, and internet guilt. I’ll try to keep the photos of my kids with shampoo mohawks to a minimum.

This is fun already.

Woohoo! My first comment on your new blog, and it’s about CHOCOLATE!! :)
I mean, that’s what you asked for, right? My favorite late night snack… and early morning, and afernoon, and early night and everything in between is: CHOCOLATE.

Amy your new website looks easy to navigate and bright and cheerful. My favourite late night snack is toast covered with home-made Rasberry jam. Even better if the toast is cooked over an open fire. The fabrics and designs are lovely I think I like the land and sea one best.
