Woke up to a magical snowy wonderland this morning, and I couldn’t be happier about it! Everything about this day is turning out to be downright cozy.
Like the hubby off work, kids home from school, and a scrumptious Swedish pancake breakfast together.
This is a legendary family recipe- my absolute favorite. You could cut the amount of butter in half, and they still turn out great, but what can I say, they’re amazing as-is! I’m sure I scribbled the recipe onto this index card, years ago, as I was moving out to go to college. It was the one recipe I couldn’t leave home without!
The pancakes, paired with jammies & THIS crackling at my feet…amaaaazing.
Oh, I also just finished my new cowl! My first knitted project ever! Funny thing is, I wore it out yesterday and of course the only thing that people commented on was the pretty scalloped edge- the one little part on it that’s crocheted. Ha!
Now time to get the kids down for a nap and get some sewing done!! Perhaps I’ll piece my new hexi quilt, or quilt my Prince Charming string quilt.
Well, that’s my day. I hope yours is warm & cozy too!
